The Misplaced Coin
John, living in Kala Bazaar Street, was planning to have his favourite ice-cream. His left pocket money wasn't enough but John knew that something would be there for him. So he took out the coin from his piggy bank and towards the gate and then to the ice-cream van. But something happened which he didn't notice. The coin slipeed out from his pocket as he went past the door and got stuck between the hinges of the door. When he reached the van, he checked his pocketsbut there he found a hole instead of the coin. But by tyhe virtue of the ice-cream man's gratitude, John got the ice-cream and went for his house door.
John was sad as he couldn't pay the cost of his ice-cream. As he opened the door and peered in from the gap in between, he saw something suspicious. He saw a silhouette coming in from the window. As the face got visible of the silhouette, it became all clear. It was a thief! Just as the thief got the gun in his hand, John heard the sound of a coin. It was the same coin which John had. He quickly picked it up and locked the door by inserting it in the keyhole. He informed the police and got the thief arrested.
So John became the hero of the day.
